Recorded live at Passaic Valley Auditorium, Passaic, New Jersey in September 1990. A slow, lyrical performance of the sarangi expressing love and sadness begins Rag Bhupali, Rajasthani Folk Song in Rag Bhup Mand, one of the oldest and simplest of ragas, and the exposition develops into exciting virtuosic exchanges between Sultan Khan and the famous Zakir Hussain on tabla.
